Portland Green Cultural Projects is an active arts organisation currently constituted as an Unincorporated Association. It is distinct from Portland Green Cultural Projects Ltd, a previous legal vehicle for the same organisation which traded for 16 years and was dissolved in 2024 following a deliberate decision to move to a different governance framework. Unincorporated Associations do not appear on any central UK register, which makes verification difficult, but the organisation continues to operate and to commission and produce work with artists in partnership with major international cultural institutions.
Partners and clients include: Southbank Centre’s Hayward Gallery, London; Performa 09, NYC; SFMOMA, San Francisco; Centre Pompidou, Paris; The ICA, London; Times Square Arts; the Creative Time Summit at the 56th International Art Exhibition of la Biennale di Venezia, All the World’s Futures; Manifesta 9, Genk; Times Square Alliance, NYC; NJN Public Television, NJ; Watershed, Bristol; FACT, Liverpool; CCA Glasgow; The New Art Gallery, Walsall; De La Warr Pavilion, Bexhill and Rivington Place, London.
Portland Green is a former freelance choreologist for The Royal Ballet and London Festival Ballet (now English National Ballet), freelance repetiteur for Hamburg Ballet and former commercial choreographer.
